The Sun & Soil Society

At ERfC Summer Escape Camp, the Sun and Soil Garden Society gives kids a hands-on way to connect with nature. Campers dig into the basics of gardening, learn how plants grow, and discover the power of teamwork while caring for their own garden beds. It’s all about getting their hands dirty, growing something real, and having fun outside.

Sun and Soil Garden Society 🌱☀️
Welcome to the greenest corner of ERfC Summer Escape Camp! The Sun and Soil Garden Society is where campers become young gardeners, scientists, and eco-explorers. Kids roll up their sleeves, plant seeds, water veggies, and learn how sunshine, soil, and a little patience can create something amazing. Whether they’re pulling weeds or spotting worms, every day in the garden is full of discovery, teamwork, and fun in the sun.

Everything they grow will be donated to the Mark Twain Senior Center — planting kindness along with veggies. 🥕💚

It’s also a great chance for families to network and build community while kids learn, grow, and give back.

Please note: The Sun and Soil Garden Society is exclusively available to enrolled ERfC Summer Escape participants. This program runs from June 30th- August 15th
